THE MAGIC TAROT: VEHICLE OF ETERNAL WISDOM, by Frédéric Lionel
The late Frédéric Lionel, a teacher of the Western Mystery Tradition, drew upon ancient Egyptian and Greek wisdom. He saw the twenty-two picture cards of the Tarot as a means for transmitting esoteric teaching over the centuries and he redrew the cards reducing them to their basic symbolism. Each card is seen as a stage on the spiritual journey through which we are taken in the first part of the book. The second part the includes the symbolism of the colors, the philosophy of numbers, and outlines the method of divination. The twenty-cards which accompany the book were redrawn by the author and presented in modern graphic form. (Out of Print; available only through Archedigm.)

Hawayo Takata moved far beyond her humble beginnings to become a Master in The Usui System of Reiki Healing—the healing art which she brought to the West. Healed of her own life-threatening illnesses she studied this effective system in Japan, practiced it throughout her life, and became a Master teacher trained to activate the inherent healing power which is within each of us. The late Helen J. Haberly, a Master in this tradition, wrote the story as it was given to her by Hawayo Takata, her teacher and friend. The Memorial Edition, a hard bound volume, commemorates the author and her immeasurable gift to all persons who uphold this system.
