Intuitive
Consultations
with
Linda Keiser Mardis
Intuitive
Consultations are sessions conducted by a person with well
developed intuitive skills. They are held at the request of
an individual or small group seeking to gain creative insights
into a problematic situation encountered in their life journey.
Questions are prepared by the person/s seeking the consultation.
The intuitive consultant attunes herself to the person/s and
situation in question, and verbalizes impressions, images,
and insights which come into her field of consciousness. Intuitive
consultants often work in slightly altered states of consciousness.
These sessions are often called readings, as the intuitive
consultant appears to use his/her abilities to read impressions
from expanded domains of consciousness and translate them
into words. At Archedigm, we call them ReSourcings, as it
is our intention to assist persons to activate their own reconnection
to coexistent realms of consciousness and to empower persons
to manifest their potentials in life.
Linda
Keiser Mardis noticed her intuitive skills at a young age,
and she has refined them through experience, discipline, study,
and mentorship. She has worked as a professional intuitive
with individuals and groups since 1981.
Archedigm
ReSourcing Sessions focus on potentials and offer insights
for reflection and action, rather than predict future events.
They are scheduled in Olney, MD by appointment. They require
approximately three hours. They include a preliminary conversation
with Arthur Mardis to clarify the questions being brought,
the intuitive consultation itself, and a post-consultation
time to discuss initial awarenesses or raise questions based
on the ReSourcing experience. A cassette tape of the session
is provided at the end of the session; and a printed transcript
of the session is mailed, usually within two weeks. Additional
follow-up services are also available.

Spiritual
Mentoring
with
Arthur L. Mardis
Spiritual
Mentoring is a means of examining life questions, which are,
in their essence, spiritual questions. Through Spiritual Mentoring
an individual enters into a process of self-reflection and
self-understanding with the guidance of a mentor who is neither
a therapist nor psychological counselor. A mentor seeks to
assist an individual to find provisional answers to unresolved
questions and wonderings which may affect every aspect of
life. A mentor has no preconceived agenda. A mentor listens
carefully to the questions and issues presented, and, in collaboration
with an individual, formulates a series of activities to promote
and further the development of his/her inner resources, to
create definitions of spirit and spiritual, and to maintain
movement toward spiritual well-being. The mentor may offer
insights or perspectives in an appropriate and nonjudgmental
manner. Spiritual Mentoring is an open-ended process. After
an agreed upon short series of consultations, it is available
when and as often as needed. Spiritual Mentoring assists and
encourages individuals to discover a spirituality which enables
them to live with a sense of universal connection and support.
Spiritual
Mentoring is useful when persons
- are
reluctant, for any number of reasons, to seek advice and
counsel from previous confidants.
- participate
in alternative healing practices that challenge their belief/spiritual
systems.
- reject
belief systems that fail to provide guidance in their current
experience of living and seek new spiritual resources for
establishing order in their lives.
- find
that the practice of unfamiliar spiritual disciplines creates
uncertainties and questions.
- are
devastated when they find that, after being obedient to
the "good" as prescribed by their beliefs, they have suffered
rather than being rewarded.
- live
by an ethical ideal that they find inadequate as a means
of understanding issues confronting humankind in the 21st
century.
- seek
a spiritual base from which to relate to that which is greater
than themselves.
- Seek
to understand that there is dependable order in the universe.

Consultations
with Clergy
on Healing Ministry
with
Arthur L. Mardis
These
consultations are designed to assist the development of healing
ministries in the churches of participants. They have an added
importance in light of the healing needs of persons as a result
of the events of 09/11/01. These consultations will focus
upon
- the
concept of healing,
- the
healing functions of the church,
- the
role of clergy in the healing ministry,
- the
perceptions, attitudes, and affirmations necessary to accept
the role,
- the
needs of congregations, and
- the
development of support for healing ministries within congregations.
Consultations
are available to individuals or small groups of clergy who
are sincerely interested in healing and open to the healing
potentials of their ministry. Consultations will have structure
and purpose; however, the specific contents of each consultation
will emerge from needs and perceptions of the participants.
These
consultations are for persons in the ministry
- who
have not previously conducted a ministry of healing,
- who
believe that a healing ministry is an appropriate ministry
for their church,
- who
are interested in a healing ministry but have many reservations
about beginning this form of ministry,
- who
would like to establish a healing ministry as an integral
ministry of their church,
- who
are seeking to explore ways of defining and conducting a
ministry of healing acceptable to their congregation,
- who
are essentially open to their own healing in the exploration
of a healing ministry,
- who
would like to begin a healing ministry which is compatible
with their present theological thinking.
